Bio
Sele Got is a director, film producer, and cultural practitioner. He obtained a B.Sc in Computer Science and Multimedia from the University of East Anglia and also a Post Graduate Diploma in Filmmaking from the London Film Academy.
With several years experience in the film industry, Sele has worked on several projects and has produced short films and documentaries that have been selected for film festivals around the world. He produced and directed “Finding Idara”, a 6 part web series and “Charlie and the Boys”, a crime drama that released in Nigeria and across Francophone Africa. In 2020, Sele started his podcast “The Naija Filmmaker”, dedicated to Nigerian filmmakers speaking about their craft and films. With over 100 episodes, Sele has interviewed more than 70 filmmakers and stakeholders in the film industry, exploring solutions to various challenges to the industry's growth. In 2024, Sele founded The Tswa Network which constitutes a collective, film club and film festival to champion film appreciation and production in Abuja, Nigeria.
Sele is passionate about early career filmmakers, producing thematically rich global films and honing his ability to package and sell film in the global marketplace.
